Privacy policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This English page translates the French privacy policy, which is the reference.
In short: this site uses no analytics tool, sets no advertising cookie and has no form. If you write to us, we use your message only to answer you.
Who is responsible
VIZALGO, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS), 65 rue de la Croix, 92000 Nanterre, France. Contact: contactvizalgo.com or by post at that address. We have not appointed a data protection officer: the law does not require one for our activity.
If you write to us
What we receive: your email address, your name if you give it, and your message. Purpose: answering you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us (GDPR, article 6(1)(f)). Your messages arrive in our mailbox, hosted by OVH.
Technical logs
To serve the pages, our host OVH processes each visitor’s IP address and writes it in the server logs. We only look at them in case of an outage or an attack (our legitimate interest: the site’s security). OVH also keeps, as a controller, the identification data the law requires hosts to keep. By default, OVH builds visit statistics from anonymised data; we do not use them.
What is stored in your browser
If you pick the light or dark theme, the choice is kept in your browser under one key, “theme”, only to show the theme you picked. It serves nothing else and is never sent. To clear it, clear this site’s data in your browser. vizalgo.com itself sets no cookie.
Our host OVH may set an anonymous technical cookie, “SERVER ID”, for less than 24 hours, to spread traffic across its servers; it needs no consent.
Recipients and processors
- OVH SAS (France): site hosting and our mailbox.
No one else reads your messages. We do not sell your data and pass it to no one but this provider.
How long we keep data
- Mailbox: we delete our exchanges with you at the latest 12 months after the last one.
- Technical logs: the retention period the regulations set for hosts, 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, or to restrict its processing, and you can object to its processing. Write to contactvizalgo.com or to 65 rue de la Croix, 92000 Nanterre, France. We answer within one month.
The right to data portability does not apply here: it covers processing based on consent or a contract, not on legitimate interest. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can complain to the CNIL: cnil.fr.
